If the Displacing Agency acquires the property and you are eligible for relocation assistance, you will be <br />given advisory services, including referrals to replacement housing, and at least 90 days advance written <br />notice of the date you will be required to move. You would also receive a payment for moving expenses and <br />may be eligible for financial assistance to help you rent or buy a replacement dwelling. Any person aggrieved <br />by a determination as to eligibility for, or the amount of, a payment authorized by the Displacing Agency's <br />Relocation Assistance Program may have the appeal application reviewed by the Displacing Agency in <br />accordance with its appeals procedure. Complete details on appeal procedures are available upon request <br />from the Displacing Agency. <br />Note that pursuant to Public Law 105 -117, aliens not lawfully present in the United States are not eligible <br />for relocation assistance, unless such ineligibility would result in exceptional hardship to a qualifying spouse, <br />parent, or child. All persons seeking relocation assistance will be required to certify that they are a United <br />States citizen or national, or an alien lawfully present in the United States. <br />Again, this is not a notice to vacate and does not establish eligibility for relocation payments or other relocation <br />assistance.
