A project overview was provided by Hally Soboleske, Associate Planner. Chairman <br />Gartner opened the public hearing. Oral communication was received from Ray <br />Rangel in opposition of the project. Philip Kwan, applicant, was available to answer <br />questions and spoke in support of the project. Chairman <br />Gartner opened the public hearing. The commission asked questions regarding the <br />entertainment license and concerns from the letter submitted by the Macres'. <br />Written communication was received from Michael & Tricia Macres in opposition of <br />the project. Maria Cano and Manuel Pena spoke in support of the project. Oscar <br />Olivares, applicant, was available to answer questions and spoke in support of the <br />project. There were no other speakers and the hearing was closed. <br />AMENDED MOTION: <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2016-08 to allow a <br />Type 47 ABC License. <br />2. Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2016-09 as <br />conditioned to allow business operations until 2:00 a.m. <br />3. Review by the Planninq Commission six months from the issuance of <br />certificate of occupancy. <br />4.
