STAFF COMMENTS Vince Fregoso • Mentioned that the next special meeting will also contain many items. 17. HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION COMMENTS Commissioner Hitterdale • Expressed that it was good to see so many applications and thanked staff, fellow commissioners, and applicants for all the work. Commissioner Bustamante • Expressed excitement to see so many applications and thanked the applicants for attending the meeting. Commissioner Schaefer • Congratulated all of the applicants on the approval of their designations and/or agreements so they can take advantage of the tax break. Vice Chair Christy • Thanked all new homeowners for moving into Santa Ana and for seeing the value of a historic home and encouraged all to spread the word to their neighbors. • Mentioned that if anyone had questions regarding fees, to please contact Vince Fregoso. Commissioners Rosas and Garcia • Congratulated all homeowners on the approval of their requested actions. Commissioner McLoughlin • Thanked all homeowners for attending the meeting. • Mentioned the recent passing of the president of the Floral Park Neighborhood Association and provided staff with alternative contacts. • Shared that some homeowners are concerned because their applications have not come before the commission as of yet.
