Agreement with Walker Parking Consultants <br />May 17, 2016 <br />Page 2 <br />performances working with municipal governments. The proposals were ranked accordingly, as <br />follows: <br />Rank <br />Firm <br />Combined Score 400 points max. <br />1 <br />Walker Parking Consultants <br />383 <br />2 <br />Integrity Parking Systems, LLC. <br />272 <br />The proposal submitted by Walker Parking Consultants (Walker) was found to be responsive to the <br />City's needs and provides the best value and is appropriate for the project because of its strong <br />qualifications, project understanding as well as the proposed scope of work and corresponding fee <br />schedule. <br />Task I will involve assistance with the design and release of the parking operator RFP and other <br />related duties outlined in the scope of work at a cost of $37,500. With prior City approval, Task 11 <br />may involve additional analysis of the three surface parking lots located on Main Street at a cost of <br />$15,300. Task III involves additional services on an on- call /as needed basis at a cost of $10,000. A <br />fifteen percent contingency in the amount of $9,420 has been included for this contract, for a total <br />not to exceed amount of $72,220 (Exhibit 1). <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item allows the City to meet Goal #3 - Economic Development, Objective #4 <br />(continue to pursue objectives that shape downtown Santa Ana into a thriving, culturally diverse, <br />shopping, dining, and entertainment destination) Strategy B (create comprehensive program to <br />manage parking that includes innovative strategies to provide parking, create revenue and enhance <br />accessibility in the downtown). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds in the amount of $37,500 (Task 1) are available in FY 2015 -16 Parking Facilities Contract <br />Services Account (02710132- 62300) and Parking Meters Contract Services Account (02710131- <br />62300).
