individuals, and individuals who are basic skills deficient in the provision of individualized career <br />services, Priority must be provided in the following order: <br />1) To veterans and eligible spouses who are also included in the groups given statutory priority <br />for WIOA adult formula funds. This means that veterans and eligible spouses who are also <br />recipients of public assistance, other low - income individuals, or individuals who are basic <br />skills deficient would receive first priority for services provided with WIOA adult formula <br />funds. <br />2) To non- covered persons (that is, individuals who are not veterans or eligible spouses) who are <br />included in the groups given priority for WIOA adult formula funds. <br />3) To veterans and eligible spouses who are not included in WIOA's priority groups. <br />4) To non - covered persons outside the groups given priority under WIOA. <br />See AJCC System Map that identifies the location of the AJCC and its affiliates. The AJCC System <br />Map is attached hereto as Exhibit C and incorporated herein by this reference. <br />H. SHARED TECHNOLOGY AND SYSTEM SECURITY <br />WIOA emphasizes technology as a critical too] for making all aspects of information exchange <br />possible, including client trucking, common case management, reporting, and data collection. To <br />support the use of these tools, each AJCC Partner agrees to the following: <br />I, Comply with the applicable provisions of W10A, Welfare and Institutions Code, California <br />Education Code, Rehabilitation Act, and any other appropriate statutes or requirements. <br />2. The principles of common reporting and shared information through electronic mechanisms, <br />including shared technology, <br />3. Commit to share information to the greatest extent allowable under their governing legislation <br />and confidentiality requirements. <br />4. 'Maintain all records of the AJCC customers or partners (e.g. applications, eligibility and <br />referral records, or any other individual records related to services provided under this MOU) <br />in the strictest confidence, and use them solely for purposes directly related to such services. <br />5. Develop technological enhancements that allow interfaces of common information needs, as <br />appropriate. <br />6. Understand that system security provisions shall be, agreed upon by all partners. <br />I. CONFIDENTIALITY: <br />The WDB agrees that when any 'individual applies for or receives services from the partner agency <br />through the Arnerica's Job Center of California Center, all information regarding such application for <br />or receipt of services shall be confidential information subject to the WIOA provisions. <br />The parties agree to honor the confidentiality provisions as described in the local WIOA plan, <br />including modifications thereto, and incorporated into this MOU by reference, Exchanged <br />information shall remain private and confidential in accordance with the most restrictive <br />confidentiality requirements of any of the parties collecting, receiving or sharing information, <br />The AJCC Partner agrees to comply with the provisions of WIOA as well as the applicable sections <br />of the Welfare and Institutions Code, the California Education Code, the Rehabilitation Act, and any <br />other appropriate statute or requirement to assure the following: <br />25D -11 <br />
