THE FIRST AND PACIFIC TOWNHOME PROJECT AT 1506 THROUGH <br />1548 WEST FIRST STREET — THE OLSON COMPANY, APPLICANT <br />{STRATEGIC PLAN NOS. 3, 2, 5; 5, 3, 41 - Planning and Building Agency, <br />Community Development Agency, and Public Works Agency <br />Planning Commission approved recommended action on April 11, 2016 by <br />a vote of 5 -0 (Alderete and Bacerra absent). <br />Legal Notice published in the Orange County Reporter April 22, 2016 and <br />notices mailed on April 21, 2016. <br />Notice of Adjournment posted on May 4, 2016, pursuant to Government <br />Code § 54955.1. <br />Continued from the May 3, 2016 City Council meeting by a vote of 6 -0 <br />(Tinajero absent). <br />Mayor Pulido, opened the Hearing. Noted that speaker cards received <br />from Sandy Gottlieb and John Reekstin representing Olson Company; <br />available to answer questions by the City Council, if any. There were no <br />other speakers and the Hearing closed. <br />Mayor Pro Tern Sarmiento, thanked the applicant and the Kennedy <br />Commission that worked together to make some modifications to the <br />Inclusionary Housing Agreement and subsequent amended motion; <br />amendments allows for concessions that make it more feasible for working <br />families. <br />Councilmember Benavides, asked if motion should include friendly <br />amendment to include agreed upon additional amenities in the open <br />space /landscape plan that is part of tentative tract map. <br />City Manager Cavazos, noted that open space /landscape plan <br />concessions will be processed administratively. <br />AMENDED MOTION: <br />1. Approve and adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration and <br />Mitigation Monitoring Reporting Program, Environmental Review <br />No. 2015 -09. <br />2.
