COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTPROGRAM <br />Various <br />Statement of Purpose <br />To provide high-quality programs and services to the business and development communities which will serve <br /> to encourage economic growth, employment growth, and real estate investment within Santa Ana. <br />To accomplish these goals, the Division has several sections, each performing one facet of this program. The mission <br />statements for these sections are: <br />SERVICE PROGRAM <br />BUSINESS OUTREACH AND RETENTION <br />To retain and attract businesses, jobs, and investment to Santa Ana by providing timely information and assistance to <br />businesses, through services and programs that foster business development. <br />See additional Economic Development section of General Fund. <br />IDB MONITORING <br />Authority, for compliance and reporting requirements throughout the life of the loan. <br />MARKETING <br />To promote the positive aspects of the City to create a business friendly environment for the attraction and retention <br />of businesses. <br />WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT <br />To provide employment and training programs for adults and youths resulting in the placement of these individuals in <br />unsubsidized employment through effective utilization of available financial resources. <br /> 4-14 <br /> <br />
