COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTPROGRAM <br />Workforce Development Board (WDB)Various <br />Statement of Purpose <br />To ensure that the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs and activities and the Santa Ana Workforce <br />Development Board perform in accordance with the governing legislation (Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act), <br />federal and state mandates, as well as operate efficiently and in a cost effective manner. <br />Staff to the WDB board and function as liaison between mandated partners, program operators, reporting agencies, as <br />well as oversee contracts, monitoring and data reporting. <br />Accomplishments in FY 14-15 & FY 15-16 <br />Ϋ Met or exceeded State imposed program performance outcomes. <br />Ϋ Completed conversion from State JTA system to full implementation of CalJobs for reporting of client activities <br />and financial reporting. <br />Ϋ Completed transition of WIA to the new WIOA program. <br />Ϋ Began implementation of all new guidelines and regulations as required by WIOA. <br />Ϋ Modified the WIB Board under WIOA guidelines and prepare to submit to the State for recertification. <br />Action Plan for FY 16-17 <br />Ϋ Adjust operations to be in compliance with new WIOA legislation. <br />Ϋ Begin implementation of all new guidelines and regulations as required by WIOA. <br />Ϋ Collaborate with OC and Anaheim WDB on a Regional Workforce Plan. <br />Ϋ Finalize MOU's with mandated partners. <br />Ϋ Host a workforce summit with business and education institutions. <br />ActualActualEstimatedObjective <br />PERFORMANCE MEASURES <br />FY 13-14FY 14-15FY 15-16FY 16-17 <br />Service Level <br />% of funds obligated by end of fiscal year100%100%80%80% <br />% of funds spent from previous year100%100%80%80% <br />Efficiency <br /># of performance measures met6666 <br /> 4-18 <br /> <br />
