CAPITAL FUNDS <br />Habitat Conservation FundPROGRAMFund 169 <br />PURPOSE:The Habitat Conservation Fund Program was established by the California Wildlife Protection Act of 1990 (The <br />Mountain Lion Initiative). It provides funds for acquisition, enhancement, and restoration of wildlife areas, <br />including programs and trails that bring urban residents into parks and wildlife areas.
