Selection Criteria <br />1) Artistic excellence, as evidenced by past work (30 %) <br />2) Demonstrated experience working on projects of similar scope (30 %) <br />3) Demonstrated experience and commitment to engaging the <br />community in public art projects (30 %) <br />4) Local Preference (10 %) <br />XI. Selection Process <br />A panel of artists, arts administrators and community stakeholders will <br />review all submissions received by the deadline and identify the most <br />qualified applicants for this project. Selected muralists will then be asked to <br />present detailed work proposals, including project timelines, community <br />engagement plans, and a budget prior to receiving approval from the Arts <br />& Culture Commission. Mural designs must be approved by the Arts & <br />Culture Commission prior to installation. <br />Any subsequent changes in the RFQ from the date of issuance to the date <br />of submittal will result in an addendum by the issuing office to those <br />5 <br />19F -10 <br />
