Amendment to Agreements and MOU with Workforce <br />Innovation and Opportunity Act Youth Service Providers <br />August 2, 2016 <br />Page 2 <br />After review of the City's Program Year 2016 -2017 Youth Funds allocation under the federal <br />Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act grant and review of the provider's performance <br />outcomes, staff recommends amending the agreements to add the same level of funding <br />amounts for the second year of the agreements. The second year funds will serve an additional <br />72 at -risk Santa Ana youth. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item assists the City in meeting Goal #2 - Youth, Education, Recreation, <br />Objective #4 (Partner with groups and organizations to promote education, senior services, job <br />training and development for all Santa Ana residents). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds in the amount of $500,000 for these amendments are available in the Workforce <br />Development Board Youth Council, Payment to Subagent account (no. 12318750 - 69135), and <br />$49,000 in prior year Youth funds will be carried forward to FY 2016 -17.
