(SSI) <br />Discipline Codes: Law Enforcement= LE, Fire - F, Emergency Medical Services= EMS, Emergency Management= EM, Public Health = PH, Other Discipline -OD <br />Course Title <br />Description <br />Discipline <br />Total Course Cost <br />(Estimated) <br />Multiple Assault Counter Terrorism Action Capability <br />(MACTAC) is a scalable response to the full spectrum of <br />Active Shooter events and allows department leaders the <br />confidence of relying on experts to design your response <br />while maintaining the ability to respond to additional attacks. <br />MACTAC Basic <br />Objectives are to prepare Individual LE officers arriving at the <br />LE <br />$11,220.00 <br />scene of an active shooter or other terrorist incident to <br />differentiate quickly whether there Is the Intent to kill en <br />masse and respond by forming small groups that advance on <br />the perpetrators /s and effectively use small unit tactics to <br />end the incident as soon as possible thus saving lives. <br />Objectives are to train personnel arriving at the scent to <br />effectively command a squad or ad hoc unit to respond to <br />attacks such as the recent attack in Orlando, FL. This course <br />MACTAC Squad Leader <br />was developed by OCOA and LAPD and has been modifled by <br />LE <br />$11,220.00 <br />SSI to Incorporate performance objectives based on <br />response by ad hoc units formed at the scene and to enable <br />these responders to effectively terminate a mass shooting, <br />bombing, or hostage Incident as quickly as possible. <br />Objective same as MATAC Basic; this course enables <br />MACTAC Train the Tralner <br />participants in the basic program to train members of their <br />LE <br />$23,000,00 <br />own agency. <br />Page 1 of 6 <br />25H -477 <br />
