made by the CITY within thirty (30) days of receipt of said report for work satisfactorily <br />performed. <br />18. PUBLIC EDUCATION SERVICES: <br />The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the provision of public education services as <br />provided in the CITY'S SRRE. These services shall include, but are not limited to, the following <br />items: <br />(a) the production and distribution of a pamphlet containing trash regulations and <br />holidays to all Customers and Curbside Service Units on a yearly basis and to all new service starts <br />at service initiation; <br />(b) the production and distribution to all Customers and Curbside Service Units every <br />year of pamphlets concerning source reduction, Recycling and /or Yard Waste Diversion on an <br />annual basis and to all new service starts at service initiation; <br />(c) the performance, as needed, of community presentations on source reduction, <br />Recycling and Yard Waste Diversion, including the production of all presentation materials; <br />(d) the provision, as necessary, of technical assistance in the areas of source reduction, <br />Recycling and Yard Waste Diversion; <br />(e) the establishment and maintenance of a telephone hotline to receive calls from the <br />public and provide iunfortnation concerning integrated waste management; <br />(f) cooperation in the production of an integrated waste management video for use by <br />the CITY; and, <br />(g) development and. management of grants pursuant to the regulations contained in the <br />CIWMA and/or adopted by the California Integrated Waste Management Board including the <br />Department of Conservation and other governmental agencies that offer grants related to collection <br />and recycling services provided under the Agreement. Contractor shall be compensated $75.00 per <br />hour for grant administrator's time to development and administer the grant programs. <br />Annually, on July 1, or as soon thereafter as the CIWMB determines the level of <br />funding to be provided to City, the City and CONTRACTOR will set the compensation and level <br />of service for collection of used oil containers and filters, <br />This Section may be reasonably modified from time to time as deemed necessary <br />and appropriate by the Executive Director, including increased grant compensation paid to <br />Contractor upon a writing executed by the Executive Director. The CONTRACTOR shall be <br />required to work with the Executive Director in the preparation and production of the services <br />listed and to proceed in the rendering of such services as the CITY dictates. Any services required <br />hereunder shall require the Executor Director's approval prior to the execution thereof. <br />14 <br />25N -21 <br />
