The Planning <br />Commission made no changes to the recommended conditions of approval outlined in the <br />attached staff report (Exhibit A). <br />DISCUSSION <br />The McFadden Public Market proposes to occupy the entire building as a full - service restaurant and <br />bar facility with indoor entertainment in the form of a 1980s gaming arcade. Although the arcade <br />would be ancillary to the restaurant use, it will be distributed among both floors of the restaurant <br />space and will include classic games such as pinball, foosball, and classic video games such as <br />Pac Man and Donkey Kong. Full -sized site plans are available for public viewing in the Clerk of <br />the Council Office. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #3 - Economic Development, <br />Objective #2 (create new opportunities for business /job growth and encourage private <br />development through new General Plan and Zoning Ordinance policies). <br />31A-1 <br />
