Bureau of Outdoor Recreation, under and <br />Pursuant to the power and authority contained in the provisions of the Federal <br />Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949 {63 Stat. 337), as amended; and <br />particularly as amended by Public Law 485, 91st Congress, and regulations and <br />orders promulgated thereunder (hereinafter designated "Grantor "), for and in <br />0 consideration of the perpetual use of the hereinafter described premises as <br />and for public park and public recreation area purposes, by the City of Santa <br />M Ana (hereinafter designated "Grantee "), does hereby release and quitclaim to a <br />Grantee, and to its successors and assigns, all Grantor's right, title and <br />Interest in and to the following described property located in Orange County, <br />California and consisting of approximately 21.65 acres: <br />O Begin a portion of Section 22, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, <br />Commencing at a point In the Easterly Line of the Santa Ana River, <br />as shown on Record of Survey Map No. 3061, recorded at the Office <br />S' of the Recorder, .County of Orange on January 31, 1966, Record of <br />Survey Map Book 95, Page 2B; where the Center Line of Edinger Avenue <br />intersects said Easterly Line; thence, easterly along said Center <br />Line of Edinger Avenue N. 88° 50' 00" E., 1390.00 ft, to a point, <br />thence S. 1° 10' 00" E., 52.00 ft., to a point in the Southerly <br />Lino of Edinger Ave., said point also being the True Point of <br />Beginning; thence easterly along said Southerly Line of Edinger <br />Avenue N. 88° 50' 00" E., 869.11 ft, to the beginning of a tangent <br />curve to the southeast with a radius of 948.00 ft.; thence easterly <br />and southeasterly along said tangent curve through a central angle <br />of 120 14' 17" an arc length of 208.51 ft. to a point in the Westerly <br />Line of the Orange County Flood Control District Channel as shown <br />an aforementioned Record of Survey Maps thence southwesterly along <br />said Westerly Line of the O.C.P.C.D. Channel S. 15° 52' 12" W., <br />1074.31 ft., to a point in said Westerly Line of O.C,F.C.D. Channel; <br />thence westerly along a line S. 88° 50' 00" W., 761,19 ft, to a <br />point; thence northerly along a line perpendicular to the last <br />described 'line N. 1° 10' 00" W., 1050,00 ft, to the True Point of <br />Beginning. <br />To Have and to Hold the herainbefore described property, subject to the <br />reservations, exceptions, restrictions, conditions and covenants herein <br />expressed and set forth unto the Grantee, its successors and assigns, forever. <br />The hereinbefore, described property is granted by the Grantor to the Grantee <br />subject to any and all outstanding easements for streets, utility systems, <br />rights -of -way, railroads, pipelines, and /or covenants, restrictions, reservations, <br />conditions, and agreements of record which now exist affecting the foregoing <br />described premises. <br />The Grantor expressly excepts and reserves all oil, gas, and mineral rights <br />and deposits in said land to the Grantor or to such person(s) as may be <br />authorized by the Grantor to prospect, mine, and remove such deposits from <br />the hereinbefore described property under applicable laws. <br />Pursuant to authority contained in the Federal Property and Administrative <br />Services Act of 1949, as amended, and applicable rules, regulations and <br />orders promulgated thereunder, the General Services Administration determined <br />the property to be surplus to the needs of the United States of America and <br />assigned the property to the Department of the Interior for conveyance to <br />the Grantee. <br />It is Agreed and Understood by and between the Grantor and Grantee, and the <br />Grantee by its acceptance of this dead, does acknowledge its understanding <br />of the agreement, and does covenant and agree for itself, and its successors <br />and assigns, forever, as follows: <br />C � � <br />�, '' rxHxsxm c <br />
