Contractor shall provide to City, a description of efforts and procedures used to notify <br />residents of employment opportunities as they occur but, at a minimum, once each year <br />prior to the City exercising its option to extend the contract. <br />15. CONTRACTOR'S PARTICIPATION AT COMMUNITY MEETINGS, <br />EVENTS AND PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS <br />If requested by City, the Contractor shall agree to participate in community <br />meetings, community events and public awareness campaigns, such as National Night <br />Out, DUI presentations or any other neighborhood or City event. Such participation shall <br />be upon City request provided with reasonable notice of the event. Such events will not <br />exceed four (4) requests per year. <br />16. COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS <br />a. Contractor shall perform all requirements under this contract in strict <br />observance of and in compliance with all applicable environmental, traffic, safety and <br />any other laws, regulations, ordinances, codes and any other legislative or statutory <br />requirements. <br />b. Contractor warrants that the performance of services under this contract shall <br />be compliant with the current requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act <br />(OSHA) and as it maybe amended or updated throughout the term of this contract. <br />The Contractor shall be liable for all violation fines levied against the City by any <br />Federal, State or local agency, including but not limited to the Air Quality Management <br />District (AQMD), and the Regional Water Quality Control Board, due to the action or <br />failure to act by Contractor. <br />18. JURISDICTION - VENUE <br />This Agreement has been executed and delivered in the State of California and the <br />validity, interpretation, performance, and enforcement of any of the clauses of this <br />Agreement shall be determined and governed by the laws of the State of California. Both <br />parties further agree that Orange County, California, shall be the venue for any action or <br />proceeding that may be brought or arise out of, in connection with or by reason of this <br />Agreement. <br />19. PROFESSIONAL LICENSES <br />Contractor shall, throughout the term of this Agreement, maintain all necessary <br />licenses, pennits, approvals, waivers, and exemptions necessary for the provision of the <br />services hereunder and required by the laws and regulations of the United States, the <br />
