GRANTDESCRH`T1ON <br />Best practice strategies will be conducted to reduce the number of persons killed and injured in traffic collisions <br />involving impairment and other primary collision factors. The funded strategies may include enforcement <br />operations focusing on impaired driving, distracted driving, nighttime seat belt use, motorcycle safety, and <br />pedestrian and bicycle safety. Operations are conducted in areas with disproportionate numbers of traffic <br />collisions. Other funded strategies may include public awareness, educational programs and training for law <br />enforcement. <br />6.
