PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2016-29, CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO <br />2016-30 AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2016-33 <br />(Applicant: Andy Quach, The Majesty Restaurant — 5015 West Edinger Avenue, Unit V) <br />Matter continued from the September 12, 2016 Planning Commission meeting. <br />Legal notice published in the Orange County Register on September 2, 2016 and <br />notices mailed September 1, 2016. <br />A project overview was provided by Vince Fregoso, Principal Planner, and reviewed <br />added conditions. Vice Chair Bauer opened the public hearing. Tung Lee, spoke in <br />opposition of the project, noting impacts to the neighborhood and provided flyers of <br />events. Maria Gallardo, spoke in support of the project. Andy Quach, spoke in <br />support of the project, on the rear doors and outreach he did to the neighborhood. <br />There no other speakers and the hearing was closed. <br />AMENDED MOTION: <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit (CUP) No. 2016-29 for <br />the expanded sales of alcohol beverages. <br />2. Adopt a resolution approving CUP No. 2016-30 as conditioned for after- <br />hours operations. <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving CUP No. 2016-33 as conditioned for banquet <br />use. <br />4. Amend CUP No. 2016-30 Condition No. 5 & CUP No. 2016-33 CUP No. 8 for <br />Live Entertainment to indicate live entertainment shall not be audible <br />beyond 5 feet. <br />5. Amend CUP No. 2016-30 Condition No. 6 & CUP No. 2016-33 Condition No. <br />9 for No Loitering to require No Parking signage between the hours of 9:00 <br />p.m. - 7:00 a.m. <br />6.
