Therefore, bioswale design features are considered creative <br />low -impact development solutions, due to their aesthetic and environmental qualities (Exhibit 1). <br />In summary, in addition to the obvious transportation improvements, the project improves the <br />quality of life in the urban areas and for nearby residents. The combination of benefits in various <br />categories qualified this project as worthy of the award (Exhibit 2). <br />The City was awarded with a Bronze Certification from GreenRoads, which is a third -party rating <br />system that rewards roadway projects that exceed public expectations for environmental, <br />economic, and social performance.
