CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />RFP NO.; 16-090 <br />WATER WELL,, PUMP AND MOTOR REPAIR SERVICES <br />At its sole and absolute discretion, Public Works Agency reserves the right to obtain services from other <br />sources to complete any As -Needed Repairs, <br />F. AdditionalWork[Location <br />All additional work provided herein shall commence on thespecified date established The Contractor <br />shall proceed diligently to complete said work within the time allotted. <br />Additional work/locations may be added during the Contract period. Upon request by the Project <br />Manager, the Contractor shall provide a written quotation for any additional work/location(s), based on <br />the rates quoted in Exhibit C. The Contractor shall be paid for additional work/locations in accordance <br />with the rates submitted, Upon Contract Manager's negotiation and acceptance of the Contractor's <br />written quotation the additional work/location(s) may be added to the Contract by amendment or <br />change order. <br />G. Hours and Days of Service <br />Contractor shall respond within 24 hours' notification to an authorized Public Works representative's <br />service request. Hours of service will be primarily a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, each <br />week. The Prcjeet Manager may alter the hours and days of services when necessary. <br />H, Utilities <br />The Public Works Agency will not provide utilities. <br />I. Storage Facilities <br />The Public Works Agency will not provide storage facilities for the Contractor. The Public Works <br />Agency will not be. liable or responsible :for any damage, bywnatever means:, or for theftof materials <br />or equipment on the jobsite. <br />J. Removaf of Debris <br />All debris derived from these services shall be removed from Public Works property and become the <br />property of the Contractor: The Contractor shall dispose of all debris from these services in a legally <br />established area appropriate for type of debris being disposed. Disposal shall be at the Contractor's <br />expense. The Contractor shall not allow any debris from its operations under this Contract to be <br />deposited in the storm drains and/or' gutters in violation of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination <br />System. <br />K. Special Safety Requirements <br />All Contractor's operators shall to observe all applicable State of California Occupational Safety and <br />Health Administration (Cal/OSHA) and Public Works' safety requirements while at Public Works job sites. <br />Hard hats shall be provided by Contractor and shall be worn at all times. Suitable clothing, gloves, <br />and shoes that meet Cal/OSHA requirements are required. <br />L. Additional Responsibilities of the Contractor <br />25C-60 <br />
