Due to design details that were <br />found excluded from the advertised plans, significant costs could be associated with those <br />details, and therefore the project was re -advertised on October 10 and 17, 2016. Bids from the <br />re -advertisement were reopened on October 27, 2016. Based on the bid analysis, staff recommends awarding <br />the construction contract to Lonerock, Inc. (Exhibit 3). <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 — Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #1 (establish and maintain a Community Investment Plan for all City <br />assets), Strategy G (develop and implement the City's Capital Improvement Program in <br />coordination with the Community Investment and Deferred Maintenance Plans). <br />23A-2 <br />
