August 22, 2016 <br />To: Members of the Board of Directors <br />From: Darrell Johnson, Chief Executive Officer <br />Subject: OC Streetcar Project Revised Capital Funding Plan <br />Overview <br />On Auaust 16, 2016, the California State Transportation Agency announced an <br />award of a $25.52 million Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program grant to the <br />OC Streetcar Project. An updated funding plan, as well as an authorizing <br />resolution to accept the grant, is presented for approval to incorporate the <br />recommended state funding. <br />Recommendations <br />A. Adopt the Orange County Transportation Authority Resolution 2016 -070 <br />authorizing the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to accept the <br />$25.52 million grant award and execute grant - related agreements with the <br />California State Transportation Agency, and the California Department of <br />Transportation as the administrative agency of the Transit and Intercity <br />Rail Capital Program. <br />B. Approve the redirection of $9.17 million in Federal Transit Administration <br />Section 5307 funds from the Anaheim Regional Connector Project to the <br />OC Streetcar Project, increasing Federal Transit Administration <br />Section 5307 funds from $4.09 million to $13.26 million. <br />C. Approve the use of up to $5.32 million in Measure M2 Project S funds, <br />increasing Measure M2 funds from $51.83 million to $57.15 million. <br />D.
