Councilman Sarmiento's request to provide a $500 stipend to Central Cultural de Mexico. Why would we be <br />giving this organization money when it is an open secret that they are behind the "FTP" movement?? These are <br />the folks who are responsible for all citizens to be "wanded and searched" before our council meetings. This <br />should be a no vote. <br />2. A request to vote on a resolution to make our city a Sanctuary City ? And put $123MM of Federal funding at <br />risk, it immediately places a bulls eye on the Golden City. This is beyond irresponsible ......... please vote N0. <br />3. Item 85-A, a request to hold a special election to amend the Charter to revert to Chicago style politics with <br />Ward elections? And I'll just bet there will be a request to extend the term limits for the Council. This should <br />be another NO vote. <br />Folks are wondering what is in the water being served on the dial as some strange things are being considered.
