meeting.
Happy Holidays!
Thanks!
Ryan Chase
S & A Management
129 W. Wilson St. Ste 100
Costa Mesa, CA 92627
949 - 722 -7400
949 - 722- 8855(Fax)
Honorable Mayor & City Council,
It has come to my attention and understanding that the City Manager is up for review and
possibly in process of being removed from his position. As a longtime City stakeholder would
like to say that I personally have had a very positive and productive relationship with the City
Manager and am excited about all the great things happening in the City. But rather than take a
horse in this race, I think its important to look at this beyond the current person, and more so
about the impacts it can have both within the City and from the outside looking in. As many of
you know Santa Ana has had a very "challenged" reputation in the county and business
community for decades, and in my opinion the last thing we need is more unrest and lack of
stability when things are finally starting to come together. I equate it to a pro sports franchise,
and it seems like the ones who continue to make changes at the top are the ones always treading
water at the bottom of the standings. The City seems to be moving and trajecting in the right
direction and would hate to lose that positive and upward momentum with more changes. Please
consider every and all options before making a drastic decision that will impact the City, to what
degree is unknown, for years to come.
Thank you.
Ryan Chase
S &A Management
