REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: <br />JANUARY 17, 2017 <br />TITLE: <br />CERTIFICATION AND APPROVAL BY <br />CITY ENGINEER — FINAL PARCEL MAP <br />NO. 2013 -170 <br />(923 NORTH SANTIAGO STREET) <br />(STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 3,2) <br />CITY MAN ER <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Receive and file. <br />DISCUSSION <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br />APPROVED <br />❑ As Recommended <br />❑ As Amended <br />❑ Ordinance on 1° Reading <br />❑ Ordinance on 2 Reading <br />❑ Implementing Resolution <br />❑ Set Public Hearing For <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />This action informs the City Council of the imminent approval of the subdivision based upon the <br />Subdivision Map Act and meeting all of the conditions of approval set by the City. The City <br />Engineer has received Final Parcel Map No. 2013 -170 (City Parcel Map No. 2014 -01), for 923 <br />North Santiago Street (Exhibit 1), from the current owner, Depot at Santiago, L.P., a California <br />Limited Partnership, and is in the process of reviewing the map for final approval. <br />This subdivision is approved to divide one parcel into two. The subdivision is located in the <br />Transit Zoning (Specific Development No. 84) and Heavy Industrial /Open Space (M2 -OZ) zoning <br />districts to develop a multi -level mixed use residential and commercial project. The Tentative <br />Parcel Map No. 2013 -170 was approved by the City Council on June 17, 2014. Pursuant to <br />Section 34 -183 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, the City Engineer shall approve or disapprove <br />this map within 10 days after the City Council meeting of January 17, 2017. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #3 - Economic Development, <br />Objective #2 (create new opportunities for business /job growth and encourage private <br />development through new General Plan and Zoning Ordinance policies). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />here' no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />re M wsavi our <br />Executive Director <br />Public Works Agency <br />Exhibit: 1.
