C-4-1772 <br />BETWEEN <br />ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />FOR <br />SEVENTEENTH STREET GRADE SEPARATION PROJECT <br />THIS AMENDMENT NO. 1 is effective this day of <br />A-2014-349-1 <br />2016, by and <br />between the Orange County Transportation Authority, a public corporation of the State of California <br />acting on behalf of the Orange County Local Transportation Authority, 550 South Main Street, P.O. <br />Box 14184, Orange, California 92863-1584 (hereinafter referred to as "AUTHORITY"), and the City of <br />Santa, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California 92701, (hereinafter referred to as "CITY"). <br />RECITALS: <br />WHEREAS, by Memorandum of Understanding No. C-4-1772 dated January 15, 2015, <br />AUTHORITY and CITY entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to prepare the Project Report <br />Equivalent and Environmental Document (PREIED) for the grade separation at the 171h Street grade <br />crossing along the Los Angeles -San Diego -San Luis Obispo (LOSSAN) corridor; and <br />WHEREAS, the AUTHORITY and CITY agree to extend the term of the agreement for an <br />additional eight (8) months to allow for continued work on the Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually understood and agreed by AUTHORITY and CITY that <br />Memorandum of Understanding No. C-4-1772 is hereby amended in the following particulars only: <br />and 6, to delete "November 30, 2016", as the expiration date of the Agreement and in lieu thereof, <br />insert "July 31, 2017. <br />1 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />L:\CAMM\CLERICAL.\W ORDPROC\AGREE\AMEND\AM141772.
