City of Santa Ana City of Santa Ana <br />Scope of Work 9/30/2016 to 9/29/2017 <br />1. City of Santa Ana -institution. <br />2. The City of Santa Ana was sole sourced. City of Santa Ana is the municipal entity <br />responsible for land use decisions; zoning, streets, bike lanes, sidewalks, open <br />space such as parks and trails. The city is responsible for transportation decisions <br />that affect safety such a speed limits, stop signs/lights, lighting. The city provides tap <br />water in public spaces; drinking fountains and hydration stations. <br />3. The contract for this project is September 30, 2015 through September 29, 2016, <br />4. Scope of Work <br />Period Project Objective 03 — Increase the number of people with improved <br />access to physical activity opportunities. <br />• Provide and encourage physical activity opportunities for residents. Deliverable- <br />Progress/Program Report; <br />• Engineering Design to ensure proper placement of bike land and route without <br />harm to underground piping and wiring and to ensure ADA compliance. <br />Deliverable -engineer design; <br />• Bike lane treatment to include; signage, striping, installation of bike lane legend <br />& merge. Deliverable -installation of bike lane and components; <br />• Bike route treatment to include; bicycle detection, installation of lane markings & <br />signage. Deliverable -completion of bike route treatment; and <br />• Support and assist, as needed, UCI evaluation efforts. Deliverable -technical <br />assistance provided. <br />Period Project Objective 05 — Increase the number of public and partner <br />messages promoting healthy lifestyles. <br />• Collaborate with the OC PICH coalition for the development of asocial media <br />campaigns, as well as, other mixed communication methods. Deliverable - <br />Attendance and participation in meetings related to OC PICH <br />communication/media goals. <br />5. The City's program progress and performance will be monitored by the Program <br />Manager. The Contract Manager will ensure The City's is contract compliant. The <br />following will be required of subcontractors; <br />• Required attendance to monthly OC-PICH planning meetings; <br />• Provide a monthly activity/event calendar to the Program Manager.
