The purpose of <br />this recommended action is to utilize these funds for the community in an efficient and effective <br />manner, in compliance with HUD's commitment deadlines listed above. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #5 - Community Health, Livability, <br />Engagement and Sustainability, Objective #3 (facilitate diverse housing opportunities and support <br />efforts to preserve and improve the livability of Santa Ana neighborhoods). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Upon the City's approval of each project utilizing HOME CHDO funds, funds will be available in <br />the HOME Program account (no. 13018780- 69152). <br />Robert C.
