5. ]Hourly inspection of public restrooms. Advise library management of any <br />maintenance or repairs needs. <br />6. Ensure that needles, syringes or other potentially hazardous material is reported and <br />safely disposed. <br />7. Ensure that all patrons exit the library as closing time approaches <br />• Roving patrol of exterior library area, include — but not limited to the following tasks <br />1. Ensure all exits are free from obstruction <br />2. Report unauthorized use of designated Library parking spaces <br />3. Ensure that needles, syringes or other potentially hazardous material is reported and <br />safely disposed. <br />4. Verify that all dumpsters are locked. <br />5. Verify and report building exterior lighting deficiencies. <br />• Check the security camera system daily to ensure that it is in good working order. Notify <br />Library Management, if malfunctions occur. <br />• Complete G4S incident and daily operating reports. Provide Library Management copies of <br />reports on a weekly basis. <br />• Complete Library electronic reports for incidents in which he/she is directly involved; take <br />pictures, as needed, refer to camera files in documenting and identifying offenders. <br />• Notify Santa Ana Police Department if police intervention is required. <br />• Respond, as necessary, to other life safety duties as identified in post orders and standard <br />operating procedures. <br />• Direct patrons to areas within the Library and the Civic Center. <br />• Report building maintenance and safety concerns as necessary. <br />• Enforce the Safety and Security and Personal Conduct regulations outlined in the Rules of <br />Conduct. <br />• Mitigate various issues that arise in and around the Library based on Civic Center activity. <br />• Escort employees, as needed, to parking locations. <br />The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, and overhead for all contractor <br />employees and shall be solely responsible for instituting and invoking disciplinary action of <br />employees not in compliance with Contractor's rules and regulations, as well as any other policy <br />established by the contracting parties. <br />The Contractor shall develop a comprehensive set of Post Orders documenting both general <br />procedures as well as site-specific responsibilities. Post Orders shall be prepared prior to the <br />commencement of the contract and must be reviewed and approved by the City with fifteen (15) <br />days from commencement of contractor's services. <br />
