Successfully used at AECOM <br />for several years, our system has contributed to our <br />reputation for completing projects on time and within <br />budget. <br />AECOM uses a cost accounting system designed <br />specifically for engineering and planning consulting <br />firms. Project managers manage the budget, allotting <br />appropriate dollar amounts for specific tasks and <br />staff, and they receive details of work budgeted and <br />work performed by task. <br />The system generates summaries of work hours <br />expended, and labor and non -labor costs incurred <br />duringthe previous week and cumulatively (project to <br />date).
