Mitre -Ramirez, Norma
From: Lisa Tran <
Sent: Tuesday, February 7, 2017 6:48 PM
To: eComment
Subject: Food Truck Vendor Ordinance does not go far enough
Categories: Correspondence
Dear Council Members,
The Food Truck Vendor Ordinance does not go far enough. Many of these vendor food trucks take up the space of two
cars in overcrowded neighborhoods where parking spaces are already scarce. Some of these vendors are known to stay
in the same spot from morning until evening and when they leave they park a large SUV or van to hold their space for
the next day. Can you imagine walking out your front door or looking out your window day after day and your only view
is of a big food vendor truck? I doubt the residents of Floral Park would ever see a food vendor truck in their
neighborhood.
Sincerely,
Lisa Tran
Sent from my Whone
