GPA No. 2016-03 & AA No. 2016-03 — Proposed Park at 415 and 423 South Raitt Street <br />February 21, 2017 <br />Page 2 <br />The City is committed to providing parks and recreational facilities for the benefit and welfare of <br />the community. The City has been working with the National Park Service (NPS) to identify <br />additional park acreage in the City in order to mitigate the loss of 2.6 acres of park land at <br />Centennial Park, which is being used by the Rancho Santiago Community College District <br />(RSCCD) as their adult education campus.
