GPA No. 2016-03 & AA No. 2016-03 <br />January 23, 2017 <br />Page 2 <br />Table 1, Prolect and Location Informaflon <br />Project Descelation <br />The City of Santa Ana PRCSA is requesting to rezone two parcels of land from residential to open <br />space to allow the construction of a future public park, At this time, PRCSA has not yet conducted <br />any technical studies and park designs have not been drafted. This action Is solely a land use action <br />required in order to facilitate the future construction of such park and to assure the park will be in <br />conformance with the City's General Plan and Zoning designations. As part of this application, staff <br />will amend the General Plan Land Use Element text and map as shown an Exhibits 4 and 5 and <br />zoning map as shown on Exhibit 6. <br />Proiect Background and Chronolog <br />agWect Prope Back �round <br />The subject site was previously developed with single-family residences on both lots that were <br />constructed in the 1920s.
