ORAL COMMUNICATION On the motion of Council- <br /> J. OGDEN MARKEL man Ward, seconded by <br /> REFERRED -Councilman Yamamoto, <br /> and carried 5 : 0 unanimously, <br /> the request of J. Ogden Markel , 1814 South Parton, for informa- <br /> tion concerning a variance approved for a dental laboratory at <br /> 620 West Edinger was referred to Staff for an answer. <br /> CA 151 <br /> ORAL COMMUNICATION Manuel Barron, 5413 West <br /> MANUEL BARRON - ILLEGAL ALIENS a Ballast, Human Relations <br /> HRC INSTRUCTED "Commissioner, asked <br /> what Council had decided <br /> regarding the illegal alien question presented by the Human <br /> Relations Commission Chairman. .,� <br /> Councilmen repeated their comments given at the dinner meeting, <br /> and encouraged the Human Relations Commission to hold hearings <br /> and advise Council of its recommendations. <br /> On the motion of Councilman Bricken, seconded by Councilman <br /> Brandt, and carried C5 : 0) unanimously, the Human Relations <br /> Commission was requested to hold a meeting with the cooperation <br /> of Staff and the Police Department for the purpose of hearing <br /> testimony on possible guidelines for the implementation of the <br /> alien enforcement policy; the Commission is also instructed to <br /> present a progress report to Council at its meeting of July 6, <br /> 1976.
