McDermott <br /> Subject: SCA SERVICES - BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION <br /> DETAILS <br /> The background investigation of SCA Services , Great Western <br /> Reclamation and their officers and directors is still in progress. <br /> We have obtained the names of officers and directors of SCA and <br /> Great Western Reclamation from Mr. Chester Jackson, who is the <br /> financial director for SCA Services ' Santa Ana office. <br /> On March 23rd we finally obtained the appropriate information on <br /> the individuals to allow us to conduct our investigation. <br /> At this time we are still waiting for Great Western Reclamation <br /> to furnish us a list of their consultants , lobbyist and other <br /> representatives. <br /> Attached is a list of officers and directors for both organizations . <br /> It should be noted that as of this time we have found no evidence <br /> or indication of any link with organized crime to SCA Services , <br /> Great Western Reclamation or their management personnel. <br /> SCA Services are presently under investigation by the Securities <br /> and Exchange Commission, 500 North Capitol Street, Washington D.C. <br /> 20549. <br /> The investigation involves violation of Section 17 (a) of the <br /> Securities Act of 1933 ("Securities Act") (15 U.S .C. 77g (a) ) and <br /> Section 10 (b) , 13 (a) and 14 (a) of the Securities Exchange Act of <br /> 1934 ("Exchange Act") (15 U.S.C. 78j (b) , 78m (a) and 78n (a) ) and <br /> Rules lOb-5, 12b-20 , 13a-1, 13a-13 and 14a-9 (17 C.F.R. 240. 10b-5 , <br /> 240 .12b-20 , 240. 13a-1, 240. 13a-13 and 240. 14a-9) promulgated there- <br /> under. (misuse of four million dollars) <br /> They list as the defendants SCA Services , Inc. , Christopher P. <br /> Recklitis , Berton Steir, Carlton Hotel Corporation, Nicholas V. <br /> Liakas , Anthony Bentrovato a/k/a/ Anthony Bentro, Lad Landfill, <br /> Inc. , and Stanton L.
