shall furnish such additional services and shall be entitled to <br /> compensation from the customers to the same extent as if the <br /> customer requested such additional collections from the CONTRACTOR. <br /> 27. MINIMUM SERVICE LEVELS - COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL BIN SERVICE AND <br /> ROLL-OFF SERVICES: <br /> In the event that solid waste being disposed of at a <br /> commercial/industrial bin or roll-off container unit exceeds the <br /> bin or roll-off container capacity for such building, CONTRACTOR <br /> shall notify the Executive Director who shall cause an inspection <br /> to be made of the premises. If the Executive Director determines <br /> that there is insufficient bin or roll-off container capacity at <br /> said location, he shall cause written notification to be given both <br /> to the business and the property owner. Said notification shall <br /> contain the date of the reported overflow of solid waste from the <br /> bin or roll-off container. The notice shall also inform the <br /> business and property owner that should another incident of <br /> overcapacity occur within thirty (30) days following the date of <br /> the original ' incident, the business and/or property owner will be <br /> required to increase the number of bins or roll-off containers, or <br /> the frequency of collections. In the event that this should occur, <br /> the Executive Director shall determine whether to increase the <br /> number of bins or roll-off containers, the size of the bin or roll- <br /> off container, or the frequency of collections and CONTRACTOR shall, <br /> furnish such additional services and shall be entitled to <br /> compensation from such customers to the same extent as if the <br /> customer requested such additional collections from the CONTRACTOR. <br /> 28. SERVICE STANDARDS: <br /> (a) The CONTRACTOR'S office shall be accessible by a local or <br /> toll-free telephone number. The CONTRACTOR'S office hours shall be <br /> open at a minimum from 8 : 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m. daily, except Sundays <br /> and holidays. The CONTRACTOR shall have an answering machine in <br /> operation after normal business hours, and on Sundays and holidays. <br /> thus enabling the public to leave a message. The CONTRACTOR shall <br /> have the capability of responding to the public in English and <br /> Spanish during office hours. <br /> (b) CONTRACTOR may charge a delinquency fee of not more than <br /> ten (10%) 'percent per month on accounts which have not remitted <br /> required payments within 30 days after the date of billing. Should <br /> payment not be received within 45 days of billing, CONTRACTOR shall <br /> notify said customer on forms approved by the CITY that services <br /> may be discontinued 15 days from the date of the notice if payment <br /> is not made before that time. Upon payment of the delinquent fees, <br /> CONTRACTOR shall resume collection on CONTRACTORS next regularly <br /> scheduled collection day. CONTRACTOR shall provide the CITY with <br /> a bi-weekly list indicating the customers which have had service <br /> ceased due to nonpayment. <br /> 26 <br /> �:C <br />
