Before responding to any inquiries involving controversial issues, <br /> Contractor will discuss the proposed response with City. <br /> Notification should be sent to: <br /> Administrative Services Manager <br /> Public Works Agency <br /> FAX (714) 647-5622 <br /> Telephone: (714) 647-5658 <br /> Copies of draft news releases or proposed trade journal articles shall be submitted <br /> to City for prior review and approval at least two (2) working days in advance of <br /> release. <br /> Copies of articles resulting from media interviews or news releases shall be <br /> provided to the City within two (2) days after publication. <br /> D.3.13 Reporting Requirements <br /> Contractor shall provide any reports requested by the City, within thirty (30) days of <br /> request, regarding collection, processing, and disposal activities, including but not <br /> limited to customer lists; container sizes, locations, and frequency of collection; <br /> solid waste quantities collected, recycled, diverted, or disposed; financial <br /> information, including revenues and costs by service type; and any other <br /> information requested by the City relating to operations within the City during the <br /> term of this Agreement. <br /> Additionally, the Contractor shall prepare and report all information that may be <br /> required for the City to meets its reporting obligations under the California <br /> Integrated Waste Management Act. <br /> D.3.14 Legal Compliance <br /> All components of the system proposed in response to this RFP shall comply with <br /> all Federal, State, and local laws, statutes, ordinances, rules, and regulations. <br /> D3.15 Municipal Code Compliance <br /> The Contractor shall be familiar with and operate in compliance with the <br /> applicable sections of the Santa Ana Municipal Code (SAMC). The Contractor and <br /> its employees are subject to criminal and civil prosecution for operating in violation <br /> of the SAMC individually and as a corporation. <br /> D.3.16 Affirmative Action <br /> Contractor, in the performance of its obligations, covenants that it will comply with <br /> all applicable local, State, and Federal laws pertaining to nondiscrimination and <br /> affirmative action. <br /> Page 22 <br />
