those listed in Section IIA and IIB of Schedule 7, then the Contractor should <br /> itemize these services and the proposed fee in Section IIC on Schedule 7. <br /> Compensation for Additional Services shall be fixed for the term of the Agreement. <br /> Schedule 8: Emergency Services <br /> The Contractor must propose additional compensation to provide the Emergency <br /> Services. The Contractor must propose compensation for the first year of the <br /> Agreement on Schedule 8. Future years will be subject to an adjustment based on <br /> the CPI. <br /> All compensation proposed by the Contractor on Schedules 1,2,4,6,7, and 8 must be <br /> made in units of one cent ($0.01). Fractions less than one cent ($0.01) will be <br /> adjusted downward. The bin service revenue calculations on Schedules 3 and 5 <br /> must be rounded to the nearest one dollar ($1.00). <br /> The City reserves the right to request additional cost information from the <br /> Contractor regarding projected operating and overhead costs. <br /> G.5 COMPENSATION ADJUSTMENTS <br /> It is the City's intent to adjust Contractor rates for all services on annual basis <br /> effective July 1, 1994. The annual increase or decrease of payment to the Contractor <br /> shall be based on the following formula: <br /> 1) Landfill adjustments will be passed through within 30 days of County <br /> implementation. <br /> 2) Hauling and processing of solid waste will be adjusted on a weighted cost <br /> index as follows: <br /> a) 90% shall be adjusted on December CPI for all urban consumers, L.A. <br /> - Anaheim - Riverside SMSA. <br /> b) 10% shall be adjusted on PPI, diesel fuel #2 (#057303). <br /> Contractors are to submit any proposed changes to the above rate adjustment <br /> formula. <br /> Adjustments to the Contractor's rates will be made in units of one cent ($0.01). <br /> Fractions less than one cent ($0.01) will not be considered in making adjustments. <br /> The annual increase or decrease in payment to the Contractor shall be effective <br /> July 1 of each year of the contract, commencing July 1, 1994. <br /> Page 40 <br />
