(9) . Clerk of the Council shall mean the Clerk of the Council <br /> of CITY. <br /> (10) . Code shall mean the Municipal Code of CITY, both <br /> codified and miscellaneous ordinances. <br /> (11) . Commercial/Industrial Bin Service shall mean bin service <br /> which is provided by CONTRACTOR to commercial and/or industrial <br /> units. <br /> (12) . Commercial Solid Wastes shall mean solid waste <br /> originating from stores, business offices, commercial warehouses, <br /> hospitals, educational, health care, military and correctional <br /> institutions, non-profit research organizations and government <br /> offices. <br /> (13) . Compost means the product resulting from the controlled <br /> biological decomposition of organic wastes that are source <br /> separated from the solid waste stream. <br /> (14) . Composting means a method of waste treatment which <br /> produces a product meeting the definition of "compost" herein. <br /> (15) . Composting Facility means a state permitted solid waste <br /> facility at which composting is conducted and which produces a <br /> product meeting the definition of compost. <br /> (16) . Construction and Demolition Solid Waste includes solid <br /> wastes, such as building materials, and packaging and rubble <br /> resulting from construction, remodeling, repair and demolition <br /> operations on streets, pavements, houses, commercial buildings, and <br /> other structures. <br /> (17) . Contract shall mean this Agreement, entered into between <br /> CITY and CONTRACTOR. <br /> (18) . CONTRACTOR shall mean and include <br /> (19) . Curbside Service Unit shall mean each single family <br /> residence and duplex unit which receives curbside collection <br /> services provided by CONTRACTOR. This shall include commercial <br /> curbside users and any multi-family, business or professional user <br /> which does not require bin service as determined by the Executive <br /> Director. <br /> (20) . Customer shall mean a user of CONTRACTOR's bin or roll- <br /> off box service. <br /> (21) . Disposal Site shall mean any site permitted by the <br /> California Integrated Waste Management Board for the receipt and <br /> ultimate disposition of solid waste. <br /> 3 <br />
