B. SITE LOCATION <br /> Since 1972, Great Western's modern facility has been located at 1800 South Grand <br /> Avenue, Santa Ana, California and situated on 5.27 acres. Residential, roll-off and <br /> commercial vehicles are stored and maintained at the Great Western Reclamation facility. <br /> The Great Western Reclamation facility consists of 3 major buildings (vehicle <br /> maintenance, container/tire repair and administration), 3 storage areas, a cleaning section <br /> and a fuel line. <br /> The vehicle maintenance building consists of the following sections: <br /> Parts Department: this department is housed in the maintenance building and is <br /> responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory of parts for everyday vehicle <br /> repairs. <br /> Technical Repairs Department: this department is housed in the maintenance <br /> building and is responsible for jobs that require in-depth mechanical skills <br /> (rebuilding engines, transmissions, electrical components). <br /> The maintenance building consists of 8 bays: <br /> • Bays 1-3 are used for all mechanical maintenance of Great <br /> Western Reclamation vehicles. <br /> • Bay 4 is used for type "A" inspections <br /> • Bays 5-6 are used for type "B" inspections <br /> • Bay 7 is used for intensive steam cleaning of vehicles and <br /> engines. <br /> • Bay 8 is used for painting of Great Western Reclamation <br /> vehicles. <br /> 15 <br />
