Included in the Calendar was a proposed schedule of community budget meetings. The <br />updated Calendar (Exhibit 1) contains a variety of updates including the Mid -Year Review <br />presentation at the February 21, 2017 City Council meeting. <br />Additionally, in continuing to provide budget updates and enhancement of community engagement, <br />the City Manager's Office recommends to conduct thirteen community budget meetings (including <br />the Sunshine Ordinance). The Calendar reflects the location of these meetings along with the <br />inclusion of a preliminary presentation of the Fiscal Year 2017 -18 Capital Improvement Plan to the <br />Planning Commission in April 2017. Upon completion of the recommended action, the Calendar <br />will be posted and available on the City's website. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALGINMENT <br />Approval of this item allows the City to meet Goal #4 - City Financial Stability, Objective #1, (maintain <br />a stable, efficient and transparent financial environment). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />Francisco Gutierrez <br />Executive Director <br />Finance and Management Services Agency <br />EXHIBIT: 1.
