Painting is projected to begin in April 2017 and <br />completed in June 2017. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal 5- Community Health, Livability, <br />Engagement & Sustainability, Objective 5 (Promote a strong arts and culture infrastructure), <br />Strategy B (Generate public and private support and resources to strengthen, expand and <br />stabilize funding for the arts). <br />ARTS AND CULTURE MASTER PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal 5- Support existing and create new <br />opportunities for youth to engage in artistic and creative activities and career pathways, Strategy <br />5.2 (Support arts education in the schools by identifying and implementing partnerships and <br />collaborations between the community (arts organizations, creative businesses, etc.) and the <br />District that strengthen its progress towards goal achievement), and Strategy 5.3 (Develop <br />collaborative programs between major institutions, arts organizations, SAUSD, Santa Ana <br />College, and creative businesses, to develop career pathways). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds in the amount of $1,200 are available in the Community Development Agency's Strategic <br />Plan Projects, Contract Services account no.
