In addition, the Housing <br />Element Annual Progress Report is required to be eligible for certain State funding programs such <br />as the Housing Related Parks Program (HRP). Per Government Code 65400, the report is to be <br />considered at a public meeting before the legislative body where members of the public may <br />provide testimony and written comments. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #5 - Community Health, Livability, <br />Engagement & Sustainability, Objective #3 (facilitate diverse housing opportunities and support <br />efforts to preserve and improve the livability of Santa Ana neighborhoods), Strategy B (ensure <br />compliance with the City's Housing Opportunity Ordinance by requiring rental and ownership <br />housing projects that meet specified criteria to provide a minimum of 15 percent affordable units). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this item. <br />Hassan Hagllfani, A CP <br />Executive Director <br />Planning and Building Agency <br />MM:rb M:\ HOUSING \RHNA\AnnualReport\2016 \RFCAMarch 7.16.docx <br />Exhibit: 1.
