Carvalho <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br />Maria D. Huizar <br />A Mandatory Pre -Bid Meeting will be held Thursday, August 11, 2016, 2PM, at the project site. See <br />attached map for the exact location. <br />2. Bid Opening is changed from August 9, 2016 to September 1, 2016; time and location stay the same. <br />3. Add the following to Section 1-2 Terms & Definitions: <br />Parties - Cities of Santa Ana, Newport Beach, and Costa Mesa, County of Orange, and Irvine Ranch <br />Water District. <br />4. Add the following to Section 2-5.3.1 General: <br />2-5.3.1.1 ELECTRONIC SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br />A. Summary: <br />1. Shop drawings, product data submittals, and closeout documentation shall be transmitted to <br />City in electronic (PDF) format using Submittal Exchange; which is a website service <br />designed specifically for transmitting submittals between construction team members. <br />2. The intent of electronic submittals is to expedite the construction process by reducing <br />paperwork, improving information flow, and decreasing turnaround time. <br />3. The electronic submittal process is not intended for color samples, color charts, or physical <br />material samples; those shall be submitted separately to the City. <br />B. Procedures: <br />1. Submittal Preparation <br />■ Contractor shall convert all submittals to an electronic (PDF) submittal with the City <br />provide submittal cover page. <br />2. Contractor shall complete in its entirety the City submittal cover page, review submittal for <br />accuracy and contract compliance, and apply electronic stamp certifying that the submittal <br />complies with the requirements of the Contract Documents including verification of <br />City of Santa Ana / Project 16-6467 Santa Ana Delhi Channel Diversion Project / REBID - October 7, 2016 <br />
