Resolution of Support for SCE and SCG Energy Partnership <br />March 21, 2017 <br />Page 2 <br />represent the member cities and implement the activities of the participating Energy Partnership <br />jurisdictions. Adoption of this Resolution will enable the continuation of energy efficiency <br />programming through the partnership. The partnership framework provides enhanced incentives <br />for energy savings projects in City facilities, technical assistance, marketing, and education and <br />outreach to support Santa Ana's energy and sustainability efforts in the community. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #5 — Community Health, Livability, <br />Engagement & Sustainability, Objective #2 (expand opportunities for conservation and <br />environmental sustainability). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with extending the agreement. However, continued <br />implementation of energy efficiency programs and strategies will enhance the environment by <br />improving air quality, reducing pollution, and conserving natural resources. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this resolution.
