AUTHORIZE EMERGENCY REPAIRS AT FOUR LOCATIONS (PROJECT 17-6612) <br />{STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, 1C} - Public Works Agency and Personnel Sevices Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Authorize emergency repairs to the Third and Birch Parking Structure, the First <br />Street Bridge over the Santa Ana River, the Safety Wall adjacent to the railroad <br />tracks near Lincoln Avenue and Beechwood Street, and a City-owned, 20-foot- <br />wide drainage channel located at the rear of 4080 First Street. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Award a contract to Arnaz Engineering Contractors, Inc., to perform the urgent <br />repairs to the four locations identified above, with all four repairs to be performed <br />on a time-and-materials basis in the total amount not to exceed $220,000, subject <br />to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />3.Approve an appropriation adjustment.
