Prange County Regional Plan <br />Declaratlon: The OC Regional Plan has been developed with collaborative input of key regional partners and <br />stakeholders; implementation commitments and partner roles are described herein. <br />Res lonzf GoaliObjective: Strategic regional alignment to increase efficiencies/innovations in the workforce system. <br />Strategy;lmlplsmentation: Through the Regional Implementation and Innovation Grant, partners will work on system <br />alignment, service coordination, and support towards a sustainable regional infrastructure that are in sync and committed to <br />the overall goal of helping people get good jobs, sustainikeep good jobs, and positively affecting the regional economy <br />through sustainable regional sector pathways. <br />State Plan Alignment: Regional alignment of workforce, education, and business engagement programs to foster a <br />comprehensive workforce system responsive to demand•driven skills attainment. <br />28, REGIONAL ECONOMIC AND BACKGROUND ANALYSIS: A regional analysis of regional workforce, labor <br />market, and economic conditions including- existing and emerging in-demand industry sectors and <br />occupations; employment needs of businesses; analysis of demand driven skills needed by businesses in the <br />region; and analysis of workforce development activities (including education and training). <br />ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC CONDITIONS: Orange County has experienced moderate economic growth and <br />increased per - capita income over the past year, a continuing trend of moderate growth during the county's post -Great <br />Recession recovery. Over the past ten years, Orange County has maintained an economic environment that is among the <br />most prosperous in the state and the nation.
