The Agreement outlines the general roles and responsibilities for the <br />design phase of Project between the City of Santa Ana and OCTA. The Agreement was <br />subsequently executed by OCTA on May 9, 2016 (Exhibit 1). <br />Consistent with the Agreement, staff has been working with OCTA to support and review the <br />design of the Project. The first amendment to the Agreement specifies a refinement of these <br />support services and a revised Work Plan (Exhibits 2 and 3). On December 6, 2016, the City <br />Council approved an agreement with Kimley Horne to provide consultant support services for the <br />various plan check submittals for the OC Streetcar. The revised scope also includes additional <br />staff and consultant legal services to support OCTA's right -of -way team in the acquisition of the <br />properties for the OC Streetcar Maintenance and Storage Facility. The revised Work Plan <br />includes these services to ensure the City is compensated for the cost. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet the following Strategic Plan Goals: <br />1.
