COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO. C -6 -1516 <br />EXHIBIT C <br />4. All Betterment reimbursements by the CITY shall be lump sum and shall equal the agreed <br />upon budget amount. The AUTHORITY agrees to segregate the Betterment with respect <br />to accounting and cost reporting. <br />Design work done by the AUTHORITY's Design Consultant on a Betterment, and incorporated <br />into the Plans and Specifications, shall be constructed by the AUTHORITY's Construction Contractor, <br />as part of the Project construction effort. <br />3.2 BETTERMENT REIMBURSEMENT <br />The CITY's reimbursement of AUTHORITY costs associated with a Betterment shall be on a <br />lump sum basis. Each Betterment cooperative agreement shall identify the timing and methodology <br />for reimbursement. <br />4.0 CITY COSTS <br />4.1 CITY SUPPORT SCOPE <br />4.1.1 City Staff Support <br />CITY staff support is CITY staff time spent in direct support of the Project as identified in Exhibit <br />B and includes, but is not limited to, administering the CITY's support efforts, Project meetings, <br />construction package reviews related to Project Submittal review, construction oversight activities, <br />construction inspection activities related to water supply inspections, traffic control reviews, and public <br />outreach efforts. The City Representative is responsible for managing CITY staff support on the <br />Project and shall ensure time charged is reasonable and necessary to the Project. Support costs are <br />only for Project construction and shall be reimbursed only to the extent incurred after issuance by <br />AUTHORITY of the notice to proceed, including any form of limited notice to proceed, to the <br />Construction Contractor. The notice to proceed is written authorization for the Construction Contractor <br />to begin work. The AUTHORITY shall provide the CITY written notice that a notice to proceed has <br />been issued for construction and that CITY staff support charges shall discontinue under the Design <br />Agreement and proceed under this Agreement. <br />Exhibit C <br />Page 2 <br />25F -31 <br />
