MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON <br />PARKS, RECREATION, EDUCATION AND YOUTH <br />January 25, 2016 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Meeting convened at 5:47p.m. at Santa Ana City Hall Ross Annex Room 1600; 20 Civic <br />Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California 92702. <br />ATTENDANCE <br />Council members Present Sal Tinajero (Chair) <br />Roman Reyna <br />Angelica Amezcua <br />Staff Present: David Cavazos, City Manager <br />Gerardo Mouet, Executive Director PRCSA <br />Jorge Garcia, Sr. Management Assistant CMO <br />Julie Castro - Cardenas, Sr. Management Assistant CMO <br />John Funk, Deputy City Attorney <br />Ron Ono, Administrative Services Manager <br />Frank Arroyo, Sr. Management Analyst <br />Jeannie Jurado, Community Services Manager <br />Enrique Marban, Community Services Supervisor <br />Sonia Batres, Community Events Supervisor <br />Hiram Uribe, Graphic Designer <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS: <br />• Barbara Lamere thanked the City Manager and staff for meeting with her <br />and others at Centennial Park to review the sidewalk and lighting <br />conditions. She was sorry to hear it did not make the funding cycle. <br />• City Manager indicated the funding for the sidewalk and lighting will be <br />available after the sale of the Bristol property. <br />• Chris Schmidt indicated he discuss the Windsor Ball Field fencing repair <br />with Ron Ono and Enrique Marban and was please for see the repair has <br />been completed. Pony League is starting to use Windsor ball fields. <br />• Angie Cano thanked staff for attending Windsor Village Neighborhood <br />Association meeting and indicated Centennial Park needs a Dog Park. <br />PREY Meeting Page 1 January 25, 20t6 <br />13A -3 <br />
